From the July 17 2015 FCC DAILY DIGEST The FCC announces its plans to up scale the divisions ability to act faster on interference complaints and other matters.
Be careful if you are using a AM or FM transmitter, because the FCC will have better resources to act on interference complaints and won't be over looking such, do to insufficient resources.
Their new 'field agent' staff will be better equipped with modern day equipment and electrical knowledge to resolve interference issues much quicker than they could before.
The NAB and the licensed broadcasters are certainly happy about this, because if they issue a complaint of interference to their signal, the FCC can be there within 24 to 48 hours working to resolve and remove the issue That includes unlicensed stations that are operating outside of part 15 rules and regulations. Although my last quote is not mentioned in that article, it still means an illegal operation can be shut down much quicker than before.
So what ever you do, watch your field strength and make sure you're not over the limit!

Bruce.
I read that and I laughed. The anti-pirate law in Florida just back-fired on the NAB and FCC. More later.
