Does anyone have any experience in using the Talking Sign TS100 (made in Canada) - it's one of the few Industry Canada RSS-210, as well as FCC Part 15 certified transmitters around. In particular, how would it compare to the Hamilton Rangemaster AM1000? If I do go the TS100 route, I would mount it in a weatherproof box with a whip antenna, similar to the AM1000. It will be on a rooftop mast, grounded to the mast (which in turn is grounded to a metal roof).
