There are plenty of posts on various boards defining system configurations that, as a matter of physics, do not conform with the limits given in Part 15.
It is up to individual operators to research these subjects, and decide for themselves the system configuration they want to use.
Obsession about these issues is not wise, but careful, deliberate research and decision-making always is appropriate.

Thanks for the link it was a good read.
I do believe that the Part 15 Transmitters that will send a good signal over .5 miles is part of what all the arguments are about.
But here is my take on it , Please don't hate me gang for posting this.
I think that many in our government know there is a very real problem with our Media .
That is part of the reason I feel the Part 15 stations are allowed to go over the 200 foot guideline.
I also think some very smart people worked out how to get these little transmitters to be super efficient and that is part of what is making our little stations so real.
This is part of the reason one field Agent will say Station A passed inspection and Field Agent 2 says it is not compliant.
I feel that some people in the FCC are allowing this to continue due to the fact that about five people own it all.
I am not very good at Articulating my self with text so I am really trying hard on this post not to start a war or argument.
Our Little stations are here for a reason and I hope many part 15 operators will consider what I am saying.
Looking for black and white rules will not work in this situation because many people are over looking the basic concept of Part15 to allow some new ideas and thoughts in AM Radio.
Thank you rich for linking to this policy publication from the F-SSSS (FCC), these links are always useful to have access to.
Once I take a full tour of what's there I might come back with questions or comments, but I won't know what those will be until I know what I'm talking about.
As a strict interpreter of the original intent of US Constitution, I could shred the FCC's citations of legal precedence to pieces with the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers serving as the basis for such interpretation. To prevent unnecessary argument over our founding documents, simply consider the FCC's citations of legal precedence as THEIR basis for prosecuting violators of their rules. One of primary reasons for treading carefully with the FCC's rules is because they currently possess the power to cause you financial and physical harm.
