is there a way to bypass iAM agc so you can use a pro asymmetrical NRSC limiter to get +125%?
Yes, see the input selector switch? (int/ext). The middle wire is the direct line to the audio modulation op amp.

i'll have to give it a good look again. i intend to use it live with my crl's also how will 600k out from crl's handle being fed into 10k in to iAM.
will have to use ground and + from crl's to feed unbalalnced
Refer to pg 122 of the BE AX-10 PDF audio in/control card and note upper left of the schematic. Follow the circuit through till it hits the point where it goes from balanced to unbalanced (U4A-U4B junction via K1). Build the front end of that balanced circuit and then just feed it's output to the direct input on the iAM and there ya go.

i have several matchbox II's but i don't want to use them if the 600 will interface to 10k just fine.
i only want to bypass the AGC (to get asymmetrical limiting with CRL's) and not do any real mods beyond AGC that will void certification on tx.
i don't think bypassing agc will void FCC certification as this is purely an audio circuit and has nothing to do with the RF section.
