Dear Part 15 Radio Owners:
Blare OnAir and Blare OnAir Lite are two series available for use by Part 15 stations.
The original series, the full length Blare OnAir, began in 2007 and has existed under several program lengths, ranging from 20-minutes to just over an hour, but in recent times the uniform length is 55-minutes.
Blare OnAir Lite is a similar program, limited to 10-minutes per show.
These programs are devoted to the freedom of thoughtless speech, and topics span across all subjects with frequent mention of radio broadcasting.
Somewhere the links the full length version went down, and I'm working now to restore them as time permits. Two programs have been retached tonight:
Blare OnAir Jan. 7, 2010 "Moon Time"

Blare OnAir June 7, 2011 "Selfcide"
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/110607_blare_56_V1.mp3
Almost all Lite Editions of the show are on line at
http://kdxradio.com/blare_lite.html
Let us know and we'll list your station as an affiliate
Since I have hundreds of Blare OnAir programs that have been offline for too long, I will try to link a few of them everyday.
These just got put up for free use by noncommercial Part 15 radio stations.
From May 22, 2011 a show titled "Deserve" resulted when a family member said Osama Bin Laden probably "deserved" being shot and dumped into the ocean. This caused me to wonder about the legal standing of the definition of "deserve."
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/110522_blare_56_V4.mp3
October 18, 2011 titled "Occupied" outgrew from the "occupy wall street" uproar and the Johnny-On-the-Spot "occupied" sign, as 2 examples.

May 7, 2012 "All Sports" is a fake "all-sports" radio station
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/120507_blare_128_V1.mp3
"Untutored Tavern" from March 19, 2014 is a trial and error... mostly error.. of how much beer does it take to screw in an announcer.

If you don't enjoy listening send complaints to Bruce MICRO1700.
I have really enjoyed listening to Carl's shows. I
have only heard some. There is a long way to go.
I'm sorry to be so brief, but I'm supposed to be
somewhere else right now. Bummer.
I just wanted to respond before this thread went away.
Best Wishes,
Bruce
Well, the politics and world events stuff
just makes me want to sleep.
I'm not saying it isn't good. It's just not
my thing.
The "Blare On Air" sports radio show is
beyond silly. I have only gotten as far
as the dude that didn't understand a
football game, and kept dropping his
"Big Orange" drink. The submarine races
routine is exactly my sense of humor.
And the part in the beginning of the
show with the phonecall to the desk/food
store, etc. is brilliant. That sounds like
something from "Saturday Night Live."
Who's on First anyway?
Bruce
Thanks Bruce. You have always been a front row listener, and having one listener is all it takes.
Today's uploads include the very 1st show done April 9, 2007 for the as yet "unofficial" kdx experimental station. The original show was called "Adventures in the 3rd Dementia", since it was being done by a retired wash out from radio and recording.

The following year, November 2, 2008, the title "Blare OnAir" was in use, and this show "Canned Chili" had something to do with chili in cans.
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/081102_blare_24_V1.mp3
The following year, February 26, 2009, a program "Whatever" reflects the youthful charm of the age, young people with no personalities.
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/090226_blare_56_V1.mp3
A year after that, January 1, 2010, "Characters" has to do with made up radio characters which I make up.
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/100111_blare_32_V1.mp3
In yet another year, June 6, 2011, the subject "Honesty" reflects my discovery that once you've been honest it's hard to back out of it.
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/110622_blare56_V2.mp3
Yet one more year, May 27, 2012, "The E-word" is among words that cannot be said outright on radio.

Please report any failed links to me in care of this station.
Yeah, that Blare on Air sports episode is
really funny - just my humor. I will probably
listen to that one over and one. That's what I
do with audio things that I like. It's sort of like
a 5 year old in 1959 playing the same yellow "Popeye"
record (78 rpm) over and over on one of those record
players that had no audio amp. The phonograph needle
just fed a hollow metal speaker mechanically.
I have heard some of these "Blare On Air" shows already.
In your most recent post, you listed - Adventures in the
3rd Dimentia. I remember that one.
I'm sure there are other people listening, too.
I'll listen to a lot of these, I'm sure.
I'm having trouble medically, and there are
other things. I'll try to catch as many of
these as I can.
Bruce
Bruce, it makes me feel good that you enjoy the shows.
But your medical health is the most important thing in the world.
I like to think that radio programs that make you feel good contribute a small boost to your general health, along with medicine, a doctor's care, and the love of your family and dogs.
Tomorrow six more shows will get uploaded.
Well, the SS Tran AMT-3000 is on 620 KHZ
for carrier current experiments, but circumstances
have kept me from doing that.
If I ran all or mostly your shows, I could call it
KARL. CARL is no good, that's in Canada. Oh,
I'm on the side of the U.S. where most stations start with W.
Well, to really fit in it would be WARL. WARL?
Bruce
Warl Blare at your service.
More of the Blare OnAir library have/has been uploaded.
Titled "Unreliable" this show fails my memory. I am being reliable in saying so:
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/090529_blare_24_V1.mp3
Titled "Human Milk" this documents Carl's application for a license to operate a human milk dairy:
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/090606_blare_56_V1.mp3
"Cable Christening" marks the changeover from DSL telephone to cable internet:
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/090725_blare_24_V1.mp3
"Delicious" is anybody's guess what it's about:
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/090729_blare_32_V1.mp3
"Blue Food" was a day when I thought we suffered from too little blue food:
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/090801_blare_56_V1.mp3
"Vinegar" is based on a study finding vinagar reduces hearts and fats:

Please ignore bad links by not putting yourself out.
I'm going to start there. It sounds like a
funny episode.
By the way, in my joke about the fictional
WARL radio station, I decided to look up
the real WARL.
There is no real WARL.
Very Best Wishes,
Bruce
I'm listening to "Blue Food" right now.
Right now, Carl, you are talking about
how chairs are made.
Speaking of sitting. The Internet
Building "Tool Shed" doesn't look
very large - I was wondering about
sitting in there. Do you sit on a
riding lawnmower in the Internet Building?
Now you are talkng about the little crank
powered radio that you have. FR-200?
I have one too.
Bruce, WARL
May cause blue face by eating blue food.
That's interesting, I'll have to listen to it, I would like to know how chairs are made.
Yes, for the most part we live and work among lawn equipment here in the multi-purpose building known alternately as The Internet Building and the tool shed.
My FR-200 lost two of its appendages...
The telescopic antenna broke off and the crank broke.
In the old days I would listen for 15-minutes, crank for 2-hours, listen another 15-minutes. Better than a workout gym. (is it gymn(?) with a silent n?) I've always said gymnastics are nastic, avoid them.
You talked about the Grundig FR-200
in the Blue Food Program. Mine
makes the same noise that your
did (when cranking) before your
crank broke off.
If you like a radio and use it a lot
pieces do break off. My Grundig
S-350 and my Kaito 1103 are
pretty wreaked from so much use.
My Sony ICF-2010 is pristene -
from 1991 - it looks brand new
at 23 years old.
I keep it that way in case I have
to sell it. I know there are a
zillion out there - but some day
maybe it will be a collectors item,
like the Zenith TransOceanics.
I keep on trying to pick up KDX and
of course they don't but I keep on
trying. As a result they are pretty
worn out. (This is a bad joke, I really
don't keep trying to pick up KDX.)
I wish the FR-200 was a better receiver,
I like it a lot, but I have several radios
that pull in stations better.
You know, the "Blue Food" topic that
you addressed in the show was
surprisingly interesting. (Seriously.)
Bruce, WARL
Very busy all day working with Stereo Tool Audio Processing Software and RCA Super Radio, documented elsewhere on this site, but managed to upload three additional Blare OnAir programs.
From Dec. 24, 2011 a show titled "Even" explores the relationship between the words "evening" "eve" and "even." It gets pretty complex. "I got even by evening just in time for Christmas Eve."
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/111224_blare_56_V1.mp3
Jan. 1, 2012 titled "Typical Day", but I don't remember what a typical day was like, so it will be new to me when I listen to it.
http://kdxradio.com/archive_files/120111_blare_56_V1.mp3
January 20, 2012 titled "Winter"... the program was done indoors with warmth and snacks.

ALPB Meeting coming up!
