I spotted something on a webcam which looks to me like an AM antenna

What do you think?
it is a bicycle.

Sometimes the forest gets in the way of the trees.
Neil said "it's a bicycle." That remainded
me of, "It's a bakery." (Revenge of the
Pink Panther, 1975.)
But seriously folks,
Those "tree protectors" look a lot
like what I envisioned as a portable
Part 15 AM antenna.
Of course the part on the ground would
have to be insulated from everything
else. I bet it would work.

Maybe the bike wouldn't be such a bad idea. Use the frame as the antenna and it is already insulated from the soil by the tires providing the kick stand is up. The spokes in the wheels would make for a double top hat.

Riding along at 100 biCycles Per Second, this is mobile Air Station XZ pedalling like hell uphill, the F.C.C. can't be far behind.
Think of the bicycle as a manual power generator.
Yes, mechanically attach a voltage generator to the bicycle... as a matter of fact I think such devices have existed for many years with a roller that is turned by the tire going 'round.... used to light the night lamps on the bike.
Why waste human excercise when it could be put to work generating power?
Imagine signing an agreement with a fitness club to outfit all of their excercise equipment with generators!
Power generaters can be stacked on top of all the power mowers in the neighborhood and even connected to dogs for their walk!
There is power all around us waiting to be claimed.
They are doing just that at some facilities, running the power generated back to the grid.
