The next regular TeamSpeak meeting of The ALPB is this Saturday, May 16th at 9:00 PM Eastern Daylight Savings time (Sunday 0100 UTC.)
Given my recent experience with a live remote there may be some disucssion in that area. It was stimulating to say the least.
Jeff of NOTR has supplied us with numerous documents which are available on The ALPB website covering a variety of topics and equipment. The thought is these documents are becoming difficult to locate so we have become the caretakers to keep these available.
There has been a suggestion that perhaps The ALPB member requirement have a minimum age restriction. There is concern regarding the ability of minors to agree to accept the Charter Document. This should be interesting.
If you are not a member and would like to join in simply read over the Charter Document found at The ALPB website. If it sounds agreeable, download and install TeamSpeak Client and let me know. I'll send you the TeamSpeak server address and password and you will be welcomed aboard.
See you at the meeting!

Hope it will not deter kids from getting involved in radio.
Another item will be submitted to the ALPB for discussion, and that is a question regarding podcasting by part 15ers and requirements of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act.
Exhibit No. 1 will be a recent bump in the road encountered by Art Bell, who wants to begin a free internet podcast.
We want to protect part 15ers from unexpected and expensive law suits.
I will be in attendance of this meeting. I had to miss the last one but I shall be here tonight!
