Picked up a couple of these on ebay and have an extra I'm not using for sale.
This little board is pretty incredible. It's a modulator board that allows for up to 300% positive peaks while keeping negative peaks under 95%. I am really impressed with performance of this thing... Not just does its make you LOUD...it also allows you to go above 100% mod without distortion of exceeding 100% negative pinch off of your modulated signal looking at it on a scope.
Like the Inovonics 222 you can taylor your positive peaks with precise assymetry control and the extra loudness you get from 100 to 125% is definatley noticeable.
Just run audio into the board and hook up board your radio/transmitter. Pretty simple. The audio through this board is pretty transparent, so what kind of signal you put in is what you get out.

In my experience, if you go to a 120% peak, you have ~10% of distortion. You are limited to the capabilities of the transmitter. (And the bandwidth of the receiver) That unit may be good for a suppressed carrier system (SSB) but not for modulating a full carrier.
Any level of distortion above 10% starts to get real noticeable, even in an audio amplifier/speaker system.
Not mentioned in the description ( I may have missed it) is the load impedance that it would like to see.
I don't know but, mine sounds great with no distortion and works like the one in this video..
I have used Inovonics, Omnia, Air tools, among may other processors and for the price this board blows them away. Works like the old Panaxis transmitter but with way more control.

It would make your station sound Loud that is for sure. I like how it looked on the scope. I see they used the channel where all the folks scream and yell on CB which is channel 6. I had to laugh at that.

Most of the Part 15 transmitters do not use high level modulators.
Most are designed to hit maybe 100%.
Like the Wenzel circuit which modulates the tail current of a differential type amplifier output stage or those which power the final RF stage collector from the output of an audio op-amp they just won't go over 100%.
Lots of heavy clipping/limiting may make it sound louder at the expense of fidelity.
125% positive peaks with this boards still sounds superb with no noticeable distortion and as the video demonstrates with the scope there is no heavy clipping involved as you would normally see in negative peak limiting scheme. Positive peaks with no baseline pinch off.

Also - yup - CB channel 6 (and also 11 as I
recall) are homes to goofy overmod CB operations,
But atleast a ham or SWL can tell when 25 to about
30 MHz is open.
