Well folks, its on the air! And it sounds fantastic! I used the design from a site I ran across with some minor changes.( http://home.att.net/~weatheradio/HFtransmit.htm
Transmitters for 13,553 to 13,567 kHz)
I would credit the author/designer if I knew who it was, alas,no info on that site. So now I am simulcasting on 1610, 101.7 and 13.5555. A new antenna and some range testing are next,on an 80m dipole at present.

Let me know if you hear it!!!!! Regards,Lee
Nice! What kind of range be expect on the freq? Is it part 15? How do the rules differ for shortwave on part 15?
Congrats, went to the link and got nothing.

Yep,its part 15,see the thread under "Wanted" (scwis note - it's here http://part15.us/node/1016) Try that url and delete all after the .htm,it works! I know propagation can be worldwide on 22 meters,I need to build a good antenna and do some local testing and count on others for the DX reports,if any....... Regards,Lee
What is the ERP or rules regarding power output and antenna length- or field strenghth on this?
You can run whatever is necessary to achieve the maximum allowed field strength which is 10,000 microvolts per meter measured 30 meters from the antenna.
That works out to a calculated 1.8 milliwatts into a half wave dipole antenna.
Refer to the "Wanted" thread on this forum for more detailed info. I quoted info from another site which details this.
Well,I ordered and built the SSTrans 3000. VERY NICE KIT! And what a performer,I just love the audio. I have built their recommended antenna, just need a break in the weather to get it set up. Also waiting to put up the short wave antenna. I couldnt figure out how to post a station listing,so here it goes! AM 1610,FM 101.7 and SW 13.555 Varied programming from smooth jazz to oldies, classic rock and country. EN92XC for you grid awares. I am still looking for an EDM 10 or similar for FM,anyone have one for sale??? Regards,Lee
