still need to locate one. its the bias pot for a rs tr20 phase ii transmitter.
hoping someone has one in their junk box they can send. its all i need to get this thing going
Why don't you just install a 10kohm 2 watt variable pot and mount it with an "L" bracket inside the cabinet, run the 3 wires to the pads on the pc board? The much larger 2 watt pot will hold up better than the stock ceramic pot.
And be easier to adjust too, no "greenie" required!

i could but if i can put what was stock back in it why not?
i met someone on CB he says he may have one for me. hes going to email tonight.
he is interested in tech stuff related to all forms of radio like i am.
"i could but if i can put what was stock back in it why not?"
Very true. I would do the same if an original part was easily located and in a reasonable time.
Adding though that a certain component might be a bit difficult to find, I always look for alternatives to get things back up and running, then while time goes by searching for original, the device is up and running in the interim.

Robert,
I am not sure exactly what part you seek. Perchance is it one of these? If so then I will dig around my junk box for one.
Neil
OK on that. Sorry but I don't have any in junk.
Neil
The only trim-pots I have are lower wattage.
Wish I could help.
I think you may have to go with an alternative. All of the places I checked seem to only have the lower wattage trim pots (3/4 watt and lower). The larger 2 watt potentiometer, mounted on a small "L" bracket and run lead wires to the PC board may be the way you have to go with that unit.
