Here's something of interest,

Good Catch!

Watched the whole video about this TECSON kit and loved it!

From kits we came and to kits we shall return.

One thing that was important to notice is that the numbers on the dial top off at 1600, so maybe this radio doesn't capture the X-band ? (1610-1710?)

Thanks for this post. I just went ahead and ordered one.  One of the first reviews gives a v very detailed description of the building process. Not a good idea for a beginner.

The specs on their Amazon listing state coverage from 530-1620 kHz.

It will probably wind up on my pile of "kits to built when I get around to it" stack, which currently includes a 40 Meter SSB ham transceiver and a Nixie Tube clock.

It is very easy to tune this typo of radio to receive above 1600 kHz.  Done it many times.

I Was Wondering About That

Radio8Z states: "It is very easy to tune this type of radio to receive above 1600 kHz."

Probably by fiddling with those little adjustments in the tuning capacitor that the video man said "not to touch".
