ok my barix box is dying on me. need to go back to the software solution nothing i can do about it tonight, will need to deal with it monday.
NextKast has saved me hours of painstaking work trying to go over every single file. It has a audio rendering section of the program which cuts off the silence at the beginning and end of the track. You said it to cut off at something like -58 DB and it does the work. It is spot-on. Plus every single song is normalized none are louder than the other one. I tell you it has great audio processing built in.
play it is free and does have some of the basic audio processing features. I don't remember though if it logs the album that is played and something about it didn't have a push to talk on the software itself. That's the only reason I don't run play it but I understand you have to buy a module if you want to use your computer and for it to have a push-to-talk feature. Plus I'm not sure about the encoders I don't play it but from what I've seen it is far less complicated then Zara.
trying out a new provider,
address is at both the facebook page and website. doesn't appear to be flash based either.
