I started another Part 15 station project. New transmitter. Not entirely new ideas but I think I will make this station portable.  Not sure yet.  I won't call it something different.  Same website as last time.

A year passed from the prior one concluding and I missed it.  Also updated my ham license to General and it made me think about it all again.  Radio is a nice hobby.

Btw, I glad to see the part15.us website on Wordpress.  Looks nice.  Seems to function well.

New transmitters are always fun.  For me it doesn't matter what it is.  A one transistor transmitter sitting on the floor of the kitchen is as much fun as my SS-Tran, or a big ham transmitter.  (Yeah - I've got a ham license.). It's the same with receivers.  Of course a portable AM Part 15 station would be a cool challenge.  There was a guy who once had a Part 15 AM in his truck.  I don't think that guy is around anymore - but he would park his truck at a local park (??) -- put down radials, put up the antenna -- and transmit all day Saturday with pre-recorded programng.  The programing (sp? yeah I can't spell) was made in his studio.  How cool is that???   Man!  I wish we had a Part 15 station like that in our town!   I'm on the fly so excuse misprints.  Brooce, Hartford, CT

if I could see to drive I would try and put up a part 15 transmitter in a van next to the water probably go to the bay and transmit with the ground lead going into the water.

What I could also do is certain days transmit in one location and certain days transmitted into another but in the same town. This way everyone would have a chance to hear the station over the air. It might work.
