I was making up cables for an R-60/18 console and lost the pin removal tool that Wheatstone sells under part number 850032 (Waldom P/N W-HT-2023)
Took a quick drive over to the local electronics emporium, Green Brook Electronics. They had it in stock, but suggested that I try the demo Waldom W-HT-2285 pin extractor instead.
Took all of 10 seconds to decide on the upgraded tool. No more numb fingers from using the "economy" factory tool!

How many kids of another era used to get the Edmund Scientific catalog in the mail from Barrington NJ? While they don't have the retail store anymore or the same wacky crap they did years ago, the good news is they are still in business. Lenses, lasers, mirrors, they've got it all.
And how many of us ... shall we say older gentlemen ... got a Danelectro or Silvertone guitar as a birthday present decades ago? Throw a nod to Neptune City NJ, because that's where they made them.
