So the big news today, other than Hulk Hogan passing away, was that the acquisition of Paramount has been approved by the FCC. I'm sure that the FCC hopes that the former bit of news will overshadow the latter, as it's pretty slimy.
Apparently, Skydance, the purchaser, pretty much agreed to censor their news reporting - the way it's being spun is that they have agreed to present different points of view from what they are currently doing. This comes only days after Paramount cancelled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Combined with the throttling of NPR, and you get a pattern that you have to be pretty dense not to see.
Oh well, there's always the CBC and BBC.
