I liked the “You’ve Lost That Loving Field Strength.” Going to have to work on a song for that.
Ok.. wrote a song, but had to run it through over and over trying to get something I liked. Wanted to emulate something along the lines of Hall and Oats original song but it just wasn't happening and saw I was running low on credits, so changed tactics and aimed for more of a mowtown vibe.. On the third try hit something I really liked, but when I went to start fine tuning it realized I had just used the last of my credits! My subscription doesn't renew until the 18th, but I think the free plan still applies anyway so I may have a few more credits to work with tomorrow- if not it's going to have to wait..
However.. the entirety of the lyrics are there with exception of a couple words cut off at the end. I really like it up to around the one minute mark but after that it needs some work because the tune starts sounding way too repetitive.. nevertheless I want you to hear this anyway as is.. I want to know what you think..

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Your local part 15 FM station.
What? I can hardly hear you.
Wait, let me re-adjust my antenna...can you hear me now?
This joke is getting too long to be funny.
Maybe if you opened your door you'd get better reception.
What are you playing?
Oldies.
Nah.
Then make a request.
Ok, I request that you go away.
Alright. I'm signing off now.
@richpowers Yeah it gets repetitive, try a different genera of music or type of song. But nice lyrics.
@mark Right, it doesn't work as is, but Iike how it begins and intend to come back to it at some point and work with it. But the lyrics are entirely mine (well.. 98% anyway, I got stumped on a rhyme) and was kind of proud how nicely it came together. I like the kind of Stevie Wonder feel this rendition gives it.
With all my playing and experimentation with the song generators, not once had I bothered to look up tips and tricks, but earlier today found this https://www.wokewaves.com/posts/suno-ai-guide-tips-tricks-prompts which provides some really excellent guidelines which I'm sure I'll begin to employ.. however, I think I'm going to get away from it for the air's for awhile.. no 1, Im wasting to much time with it, and no. 2 I'm starting to get tired of playing with it anyway.. it's not particularly productive.
@mark How bout this one? Ended up going a completely different direction. Didn't change the lyrics though. Figured since it's supposed to be telling a story, so went with a kind of spoken word. This wasnt no single pass project.. it took some hours. I like it. Hope it's not just me
it's a little different.
