Nothing better than hearing about thousands of people losing their jobs (mostly in small privately owned stations at that) so more people can run their flea power hobby stations.
In reality, IF this happens those stations will be purchased by other interested parties, some sure to be giant corporations that will bring more soul-less corporate broadcasting to the air.
I wouldn't hold my breath.

In my town of Dade City, FL the tow local stations were bought out by a station in Clearwater 50 miles away. Both stations simulcast WTAN in Clearwater. Nothing of interest to listen to. All advertising is Clearwater/St Pete. The local stations ran local programming including high school sports. Now they are just noise boxes. Dumb owners can wreck radio too.
