To Mark and All:

I got this article from Radio World this week. I hate to be the one to bring more Bad News on AM Radio. The article in Radio World is called "Did AM Radio Just Get Hit By Lightning" by Fred Jacobs of Radio World Magazine. It appears Ford is moving the way Elon Musk did with Tesla Vehicles. Don't quote me here, but about 12-13 years ago, I think Radio World had articles on how Elon Musk hated AM Radio. I was running my 1,000 watt, commercial AM Daytime Station then. I immediately filled comments with the FCC. I don't think it went anywhere, however I thought the United States Federal Government under then President Barack Obama was going to push Elon Musk to put AM back in Telsa Vehicles, despite if it was a Electric Vehicle and even if he hated AM Radio. The Mustang Mach E and the F-150 is mentioned. In the U.S. with many of the AM Stations with FM Translators, I guess there isn't a need to them for the good old standard broadcast band we know as AM. We all have heard the big talk from the mainstream media over Elon Musk buying Twitter and now has full control of it. Well I will post the link to the article on AM Radio coming out of Ford Vehicles for you below.

They say the electronics cause so much interference it completely wipes it out and the engineers won't spend the money and time to shield it as it will add to the cost of the car and no one cares enough. Only public backlash will get them to change it. Some other makes don't leave it out.
