Last year someone named "randomlyvariable" created a post titled "Giving my dog commands over radio" in Reddits Amateur Radio board. His dog apparently has some kind of protective cover on it's head that makes it difficult to hear and he wants to employ some kind of transmitter to communicate with the dog. He says:
"... I have my Extra class ham license, but I'm not sure if that actually helps. Would sending commands to a dog be considered broadcasting, or would it be more like controlling a model aircraft (which I believe is allowed) ...."
He actually received a whole slew of legitimate responses (I guess it was a he), but still not clear to me exactly how the dog was supposed to be receiving the signal!
