One Question
Good info on a topic that always needs better understanding.
I just wonder if they mean "Clipper" as one of the processing devices.
My guess would be that we mean "Unclipper" or "Anti-clipper", since clipping is a form of distortion.
The audio software Audacity contains an Unclipper, which in most cases fixes audio tracks that contain clipped samples (over-recorded).
StereoTool, a software audio processor, includes a Clip-Fixer for the same purpose.
The opinion line is open and an operator is on duty.
