What I see is a Super Max Prison for the mind.
A cellphone is an ankle-bracelet for the hand which gets carried voluntarily because we become mentally attached to it.
The CPU of a desktop or laptop provides a mental dayroom filled with games, mail, retail sales opportunity, artificial friendship and religious connection..
We are free to leave at any time, but the physical world is barren and tent dwelling is taboo.
