Was the "meathead" on All In The Family aired from 1971 to 1979. One of the best shows ever when TV used to be good. Apparently a double murder of him and his wife.
All In The Family was probably the most iconic show of it's era, and Meathead had just as much to do with why as Archie or Edith did.
He also stood out in American Graffiti around that time. He made a lot of good movies..
Murdered? Wow.
I'll always remember Rob Reiner for his directing debut film "This is Spinal Tap", alongside Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer. He also appeared in the film and co-wrote it. One of my favorites.
Apparently his son has been arrested. Such a waste and tragedy.
And, as usual, the President weighed in with his usual empathy and grace.
I just couldn't resist linking to this.
Rob Reiner's legacy will live on, probably longer than those criticizing him on social media.
