This headline caught my attention as it seemed to kind of indicate signs of the younger generation beginning to embrace AM radio:
America unites lifetime AM radio listeners, younger online fans in Syracuse
While it was a nice article to read, it really had nothing to do with AM radio at all, it's about the band America, who apparently recently had a live concert..
....The concert brought together lifetime fans who grew up listening to AM radio and younger listeners who discovered the band online. Regardless of age, Bunnell said the message remains the same. ..
I loved that band.
Same here
I used to have a 16mm print of a movie.. can't remember what it called, but the original version had used America's version of "California Dreaming" song in that film, but I had been disappointed to find that in my 16mm film print of it that song had been omitted and replaced with something else - which was a real bummer to me! Because the soundtrack is really all that influenced me buy it because if I recall the movie itself wasn't that good
