Buddy Clinton & the Belmonts - How My Prayers Have Changed
I think (but I'm not sure) that these are the same Belmonts that performed with Dion.
Some more info on my previous post. Apparently this recording was the A side of a single on Bob Shad's Time record label (#1016 to be precise), released in 1959.
Dion joined his Belmonts in 1957 (they had been around for a little while and already had released 2 singles that didn't chart), and left the group in 1960 for a solo career. Dion & the Belmonts recorded on the Laurie label, and their biggest hit was in 1959 - A Teenager in Love.
So whether these were the same Belmonts is still up in the air. How My Prayers Have Changed is very reminiscent of A Teenager in Love, and both groups recorded out of New York City (I found How My Prayers Have changed on an ACE compilation of obscure Bob Shad recordings from his Time, Shad and Brent record labels).

It's after 2pm and I am still running Old Time Radio on the SpitFire. A single CD with mp3s has about 80 cuts of half hour shows. This is #1 of 3 Sampler CDs from The Radio Lady.
The building tenants LOVE it! I'm-a just gonna let it play...
