In the 1950s Jack Benny's highly popular radio program moved to TV, his Sunday night slot on CBS Radio taken up by Stan Freberg who produced 15 half-hour shows.

Following his brief radio stint Freberg took his appetite for the radio medium to the LP long-playing album called 'Freberg Underground'.
