Tim: How many Polka records do you own? This would include all speeds.
A lot. LOL. Hard to say exactly. But for the fun of it I tried to ballpark the "organized" records by counting how many records fit in 6 in inches of shelf space then adding up linear inches of shelved records and doing the math. This leads me to about:
1450 - 45's
550 - LP's
And no idea on the 78's, as they're sort of stacked up here and there and not organized enough to try to measure, but I know how big a stack of 50 is, so ball park about 300.
Now, figuring there are two songs on every 45, and about 10-12 on every LP, and two on each 78 that's roughly 9000 songs available!
And this doesn't count several more boxfuls in the basement and attic that I haven't pulled out yet simply because I'm out of room! LOL.
Should keep me going for a while!
