As a relief from news talk KDX (my radio station) has run copyright-free music during the overnight hours. I spend a lot of time on Internet Archive fishing it out, and today I found a goldmine of material using the search line 'creative commons music podcasts'.
I missed your music last night (I cant recall you ever playing music) but I did catch some kind of constant repeating tone this morning and tuned into some talk for about an hour later. But if your going to royalty free music, why dont you play with some ai music? You dont even have to write the songs, just keep the option on simple mode and simply give it a prompt and your done! By way of example, I went to the front page of KDX and all I did was gather a few phrases from that page, and put it together like this as the promt:
"At the Center of the Bla Bla Galaxy, is a little world from which Carl Blare broadcast worldwide from station KDX, which is operating under FCC Authorization as a Part 15 Type radio service."
That's it. That's all I did besides to press the button Generate: and it spits out two slightly different versions to chose from, or keep them both:

Now it might not be the greatest, but it ain't bad and was also completely effortless. Took about one minute.
It's fun waiting to see what it comes up with and with a little more time and effort it could be improved.

@RichardPowers Good ideas. I do plan to tinker with all the AI tools as we go along. I ran a lot of music yesterday, but decided to run a tone during the hours when I wasn't listening. I'm not trying to please, attract, or gain an audience since I am the audience, but often ignore KDX and watch a movie or something. That makes KDX kind of 'shuffled'.
