A decision has just been reached to broadcast live from Blare OnAir at the TeamSpeak Open Room.
You are invited to join in for friendly conversation with no topic being out of bounds.
As soon as this note gets posted I'll be starting.
Hope to see you.
Blare OnAir tonight on the TeamSpeak Main Stage starting promptly at 8 PM EST.
By the way, the show we did Friday was among the best ever and will eventually be linked for your enjoyment.
Bring your topics and subjects and we'll talk about it.
On Friday the 19th (Jan 2018) at the opening of this thread we launched a show that is now linked for our affiliate stations and audience.
On this program we delve far deeper than necessary into what to call what we do. Is it a "hobby" or a "business" or a "pastime" or an "avocation" or do we just call it "part 15". We manage to belabor the subject beyond exhaustion.
And we once again explore the rarified art of creating radio character voices and holding conversations with them, aided by Major General Warren Monger, Detective Rock Jocko and reporter Harold Revulso.
Near the end of the show word reaches us about the death of radio artist Joe Frank so we add a quick tribute to him that in less than 1-minute demonstrates what a great radio personality can do to the mind and emotions of the listener.
Blare OnAir titled "Appliance"
Our big broadcast on Sunday welcomed Bob Felmly (MRAM1500) and Robert (Part15Engineer) in exploration of the scholarly field of nonsense, giving title to the show, comments on the government shut-down and Womens March, experience of the paranormal with distance healing, out-of-body, after-life tour guidance and re-labeling of hobby.
Radio performer Ken Nordine got mentioned, leading to insertion of two of his classic commercials for academic interest.
Beyond question the best show we have ever done.
