One of the issues I've had in the past was the inability of the IceCast directory to display Opus stream metadata. Today, I quite accidently got it working.
There's a feature in EdCast (which I use for streaming) to append a text string to the metadata. I figured I'd try just displaying 'Halloween Special' in place of individual song metadata, and lo and behold, the rest of the metadata showed up as well. No idea why, but I'll take it.

I don't know what I was thinking - Edcast was still sending out an mp3 stream, so the issue with missing metadata was not on the Icecast directory end. I likely fixed a bug with Edcast getting Opus metadata - the Icecast problem with Opus metadata still remains.
