Just a note that I have downloaded Zara radio automation program. I checked the Zara forum and now learning how it operates. I saw that there was a download for the temperature voice mp3s. Now I am downloading the weather program. I set up the time announcements too. This is pretty good stuff. need to learn more about this program.

Is there a place where I can get radio sounders and jingles for free? I saw some professional jingle sites anywhere from $99 to $1499. There has to be something out there. Anyway thanks again to everyone at part15us and for a excellent website and forums.

You could try www.radiodaddy.com for the intros and etc.

As to free... I guess it depends on what you're looking for. A lot of the "free" jingles and etc out there are simply copied works (copyrighted in many cases too) that someone has cut out into the wild.

I know some here also do voice over work (including me) so I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

Check www.drs2006.com. They've got a bunch of liners that you can use. Most of them are tagged "drs2006", but there are some generic liners there too.

The DRS2006 is what I been looking for, a lot of good liners. The text to voice software is what I will use for the station IDs. I found these for free.

I made a few simple Id tag liners by cutting a part of a song in genre and added a voice track over the top of it in Cool Edit. Try an instrumental or a clip of the song with no vocals and have some fun! You can get very creative here and this is where the fun is! You can also make a voice only file and set it as a sweeper, sounds like its live!
