I know the latest interest has been Salamandra, but I'm still looking around just to see what's out there. I've seen this one before but giving it a second look (even though it's not free)

https://www.mbradio.it/en/mb-studio/mb-studio-overview
I was looking over MB Studio Pro, a radio-automation software for a one-time $79 purchase - I'm not neccesarily planning on buying it, but its features do sound invinting, one being its built-in remote access to it, also ability to go live from anywhere.  Its internet streaming ready, and can even stream video. Not only has automatic time, date, and weather announcements but can even announce the song titles! "...allow to use speech synthetized voices to read short texts, to live broadcasts or song announcements. .."

Also very cool is that it has a built-in SMS/Email manager for automatic mailing list and such AND..

"....the most interesting function is the automatic jukebox MUSICLINE that allows the listeners to request songs using SMS or Email messages containing full or partial artist and song title; MB STUDIO automatically process the request, checks the song availability according to the administrator rules, therefore it add the song to the on air playlist and it replies to the listenester sending the broadcast time or the failure description. No need to enter codes or numbers, ..."

It sounds nice and doesnt seem any more complicated to learn than Zara.

If you just need something to easily stream over the internet the MB RECASTER is free:

MB RECASTER FREE is a freeware application allowing to stream over the internet the audio input/outputs of the soundcard. It's a goo replacement of other solutions based on Winamp or Edcast.

Uh.. Don't know where I saw $79, but that's wrong. It's $853.63

Guess I wont be looking at that again. They do have a free version though, but it's real limited.

I might have to look into that, just for the remote access. I could be out somewhere and make a voicetrack or whatever without being here at home base. But the $800 price tag makes me change my mind though. lol
