Ok, i overhauled my studio and intended to install this board but it just will not fit on my desk. after much soul searching i think selling it is better than it just sitting in a corner in storage and lets face it i could use the money to pay off some bills. i tested channels 1-4 using a mic and the dmp 50 and they sounded great but there is some issues with the dmp 50's themselves. both dmp50's have secondary mic amp issues. the primaries seem ok but one dmp secondary is completely dead and the other seems to be on it's way out. i imagine it won't be long before the dmp's completely go. i replaced the IC opamps but apparently it must be a bad cap issue. the A50 main board itself appears ok but the dmp 50's will likely need a recapping. i don't know the complete history of this board other than it was pulled directly out of service when it was sold to me. it does have some sticky switches and intermittent bulbs on the channels. but you will have this with boards of this age. this appears to be the deluxe A-50 has the clock, timer, etc. i also have a large box of spare parts i will include with it. i am asking 1300.00 plus shipping. shipping will probably run in the 300.00 range conus as i will need to purchase packing materials and will need to ship in multiple boxes due to it coming with spare parts. i have spare main boards, channel cards with switches, extra meters, switches, faders, i/o pins and plugs, etc. for an extra 100.00 i will throw in a barely used pin extractor and amphenol crimper i just bought from wheatstone. these seem to travel well via fedex as i had two shipped to me and i sold one not too long ago and there were no issues in shipping. this is a nice vintage board see pics. please email forumsnotify [at] gmail [ dot ] com as that email goes directly to my phone. thanks. due to the age of this equipment it is being sold as-is no refunds. i do my best to accurately describe the gear and any issues and to test gear as best as i am equipped to prior to sale.

Will consider trades to either an Inovonics 525 Agile Off-Air AM Mod Monitor or a Delta ASM-1 Stereo AM Mod Monitor recently capped and calibrated on 1630 kHz. my preference is an Inovonics due to being Agile and Off Air but will take accept a Delta since i will eventually be going CQuAM.
Did the A50 console every sell?
i wound up getting a new different style desk and shoehorning the A50 onto the new desk setup. so it is in my studio and being used.
