Unfortunately, you lose no matter what you do. If you (and others) leave the post alone, it makes it seem that you (and the Part 15 community) are tacitly condoning non compliant actions.
And if you do step in and point out the non compliance (along with others), it makes it appear that the community is ganging up against the perpetrator. The latter is not likely to change his/her actions, and then goes away feeling upset. And not likely to participate online in any way, either on Facebook or other Forums.
I still believe that pointing out non compliance is the right way to go. The rules are the rules. If you don't like them, then try to change them.
And it's tough to claim ignorance when there's been so much talk about elevated installations.
