Deleted a spammer

Had to delete a post by a "new member" by the name of Sergio Vor which seemed to be an AI creation with a AI generated picture which seemed like spam trying to advertise a coin collecting site.
If you are legit and have something to offer in the scope of this forum please post again.

Part 15.org Back Up and Running Properly

As the topic title indicates, the site should now be up and running properly.

An attempt was made to move the site to a new platform to increase stability. However, Murphy struck and there were some issues, so the change had to be rolled back.

It appears that at least one post that got through during the attempt has been lost. Perhaps it could be reposted.

What happened to the past register search abilty?

I've had my time in my member page set on UTC-5 here for a while now and it always shows the wrong time stamps, but I just realized I was thinking GMT-5, which is my time zone... but didn't see that option. So I just Google what is Georgia UTC Time and it says it's UTC-4, so I figure ah, that's why my time stamp is always way off, so I just changed my profile here to UTC-4 to correct it, but now my timestamp is even more off! For example, right now it is 2:15 AM, but look at my timestamp below.. What am I doing wrong?

I have posted about this several times. The big three transmitter makers are one man companies in a home business and it's a side venture. They don't do this for themselves and if no sales not worth it.
Gerry who I am friends with and resides 35 to 40 minutes away from me in Bolton Ontario Canada has informed me that he has decided that due to the fact that sales are next to nothing and hasn't sold one Procaster FM that has been on the market since the spring and the Procaster AM only sells a couple a year and he will be 72 next year, will not be restocking any more units or parts. When the current stock is gone, it's gone!
I suggest to all that anyone thinking of purchasing a Procaster(AM or FM) or would like to have a back up unit do it in the forseable future while it's available. I don't know how many he has left but when they are gone, they are gone.
I will be getting an extra circuit board for the Procaster AM and the extra circuit board for the studio interface for back up. The studio interface supplies the audio and power to the Procaster. And I have to be careful to not have any more accidents like when it fell off the wall.
The Procaster is the only AM certified for use in Canada and any of the others can't be legally used or purchased here.
FM we have as Decade's are readily available and even if Decade closes up shop there will be still lots on the market.

I usually enter the forum via the "Recent Post" links, but having the same option for "Recent Threads" often comes in handy when trying to find a recent post that might have otherwise been already well-buried.

Many forums also offer a recent topics links access, which can come in quite handy, can we do that here?

@rugster Don't think your input means nothing and your views aren't taken into consideration. Feel free to post more. As moderator I have to think of this like refereeing a sports game like basketball game or hockey game for example. The ref has to decide how strict to enforce the rules and what will be called and let go. In an NHL hockey game if the ref called everything by the book there would be no players on the ice. In a basketball game it would be nothing but free throws and penalties and most players sitting on the bench for too many fouls. There has to be some discretion used.
As moderator I have to think along these lines. We have an everything else section which can include topics that stray from part 15 radio. I agree that this can't become a political forum and the forum rules state that. But there's a grey area where politics can affect part 15 like FCC goings on and congress rulings, and even tariffs to a point. Yes the price of coffee due to tariffs and other things posted was outside the realm of part 15 it didn't flagrantly, for lack of a better word, violate the forum rules and I try to be as lenient as possible. I didn't see a need to step in. But your point was heard and taken into consideration.
