Professional Station with No License

June 26, 2006 by k107fm

Heres a good one. Purdue University has a radio station, its public radio WBAA. Apparently, they “forgot” to renew their license and have un-knowingly been broadcasting without a license for two years. I believe this station was the first to be licensed in Indiana. I guess as of now , the FCC has given them a the permission to stay on the air pending license renewal, but just thought it was funny
